Lake Tahoe Preparatory School students enjoy an unparalleled boarding school experience that includes breathtaking views of 9000-foot Sierra Nevada mountain peaks, lakeside recreation at nearby Lake Tahoe, and nearly 300 days of sunshine year-round. Simply put, Lake Tahoe is truly one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

Our campus is nestled in the Olympic Valley at the edge of the Tahoe National Forest. Our campus is two miles from the Palisades Tahoe Ski Resort, home of the 1960 Winter Olympics, and all students receive a Palisades at Tahoe season ski pass with their LTP tuition.

The application process requires the following items:
 

  • One-page, handwritten essay in English
  • Recommendation letter from a teacher or school official 
  • Transcript of grades in native language AND in English
  • A copy of a bank statement showing that the family has sufficient funds to pay tuition
  • Complete the online application  and submit the non-refundable application fee
  • Explore the International Admission View Book 

* LTP does not require TOEFL or English proficiency test scores during the admissions process
