Yamanashi Gakuin University in Kofu. Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University commonly referred to as APU, is a university in Japan. Ritsumeikan APU was established in April 2000 in Beppu, Ōita, Japan. APU was created through the collaboration of three parties from the public and private sectors: Ōita Prefecture, Beppu City and the Ritsumeikan Trust. The university has an enrollment of about 5,850, including approximately 2,900 domestic, and 2,900 international students (a 50–50 domestic-international ratio) originating from 90 countries and regions. Half of the 172 full-time faculty members are also foreign nationals who come from more than 30 countries and regions.

Nagoya University has grown to become one of Japan's leading comprehensive research universities, having nine schools and 13 graduate schools. Not content to sit still, in 2020, we joined with Gifu University to establish the Tokai National Higher Education and Research System.

Osaka University is considered one of the best public higher education institutions in Japan. It has been conducting scientific activities since 1931, and its central building is located in the Suita area.

Nagoya University originated from the Temporary Medical School/Public Hospital that was established in 1871. It became an Imperial University of Japan in 1939. At the time, it consisted of the School of Medicine and the School of Science and Engineering.
