Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics

The University consists of 8 faculties, 34 departments. The University has more than 8,000 students in various forms of study. About 600 international students from almost 40 countries of the world receive their education.

The University is a permanent partner in joint projects within the framework of international grant programs of the European Union (Tempus, Erasmus), the United Nations Development Program, and the British Council of NATO.

The university has about 160 doctors of science, professors, 370 candidates of science, associate professors, and a post-graduate department of doctoral studies. Currently, the University has 7 specialized academic councils for the defense of dissertations, 6 of them-doctoral, 1 - candidate (PhD).

The scientific library contains more than 1.5 million copies on paper. The electronic library has access to the most famous information bases of the world information space. 6 scientific journals are published, scientific conferences are held under the auspices of the IEEE. Scientific laboratories, thanks to the most modern equipment, conduct research that allows them to realize their potential and integrate into the global academic space.

• In 2019, the University entered the Times Higher Education University Impact Ranking and for the first time got into the base of the world ranking THE. For the first time, the university is included in the QS EECA ranking of universities in Developing Europe and Central Asia by the British consulting agency QS.
• in the QS EECA 2020 ranking, the University took a place in the 241-250 group and the 11th place among the 20 higher education institutions of Ukraine;
• in the Times Higher Education University Impact Ranking 2019, the University ranked in the 601+range;
• In the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, as of January 2019, KHNURE ranks 9th among 320 higher education institutions in Ukraine. In particular, according to the index of Excellence, which shows the number of articles by university scientists that are included in the top 10% of the most cited according to the calculations of SCIMADO, KHNURE ranks 8th;
• in the Green Metric World University Rankings – KHNURE took part for the first time and took the 628th place. Among Ukrainian universities-7th place;
• in the ranking of Ukrainian universities from the Osvita portal.ua according to the indicators of the Scopus database as of April 2020, the University ranks 22nd among 177 ZVO;
• in the international rating of scientific organizations SCImago Institutions Rankings 2019, KHNURE ranked 22nd among 33 scientific organizations and 13th out of 16 universities in Ukraine.
• in the international comparative rating U-Multirank 2020, KHNURE ranks 3rd in terms of the number of best indicators;
• in the ranking of "TOP-200 Ukraine" in 2019, the University ranks 18th among 200 higher education institutions, compared to 23 in 2018.
• in the "Consolidated ranking of higher educational institutions of Ukraine", the University in 2019 took the position of 15-16 among 237 higher education institutions;
• in the ranking of the higher education institutions of Kharkiv in 2019, the University occupies the 4th place;
• in the ranking of universities from the portal DOU-2019, KHNURE took the 6th place.

The university has its own paid dorm (room for two people). The cost is from $20 to $35 per month.
