A specialist embedded college located at the heart of Bangor University (BU) campus, and part of Oxford International Education Group, BUIC offers integrated programmes, where international students can begin their studies at Bangor University.
BUIC provides academic preparation and an enriching student experience with small classes and dedicated teaching staff. Beginning with the International Incorporated Bachelor's Degree or the International Incorporated Master's, students complete Stage 1 at BUIC and then continue their undergraduate or postgraduate degrees at Bangor University.

The International Incorporated Bachelors Degree offers a four-year degree option at Bangor University in a range of popular subjects.
International Year Zero (IYZ) is the first stage of a four-year IIB degree. IYZ is designed to help students gain extra skills in their subject area, as well as the English Language, before they continue to the first year of their chosen Bangor University undergraduate degree course.

The International Year 1 (IY1), delivered at Bangor University International College (BUIC) provides an intensive combination of first year university subjects modules with extra study and English language skills. The IY1 is the first year of a three-year bachelor's degree.
Upon successful completion of the IY1, students will continue to the second year of their chosen degree to study at Bangor University.
These programmes are designed for students who do not qualify for direct entry to the master’s programmes in Bangor University’s Business school. The Pre-Master’s or Stage 1 of the International Incorporated Master’s (IIM) programme is delivered at Bangor University International College (BUIC), and focuses on equipping students with business-related subject knowledge, and the advanced study and English language skills that students will need to complete their postgraduate study at Bangor University.

International students can refer to the country specific academic requirements for degree programmes and general academic requirements. Students do however require a high school diploma or equivalent for the International Incorporated Bachelor Degree.
For the International Incorporated Masters, students will require completion of an undergraduate degree from a recognized university or equivalent. Students with a HND or three-year higher level diploma with at least 2 years work experience may be considered.
For students who do not meet the English Language requirements to enter the International Incorporated Bachelors or the International Incorporated Masters, BUIC offers a range of Pre-sessional English Programmes which students can take before they start these courses.
Students must have an IELTS of 5.5 (with no component below 5.5) or equivalent to gain admission at the undergraduate level. If they do not have an IELTS of 5.5 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in any component, they will be offered a Pre-sessional English course to be studied immediately before they enter International Year Zero or International Year 1 of their chosen International Incorporated Bachelor’s programme.
Named as the top student accommodation in the UK, Bangor’s student villages, Ffriddoedd and St Mary’s are conveniently located close to campus and the city. Modern student living is available to undergraduate and postgraduate international students, with the university guaranteeing accommodation. Students can select from a variety of rooms that best suit their requirements and budget.
Student rooms are well equipped with a chair, desk, wardrobe, bed and plenty of storage. Additionally, students have access to Wi-Fi, a café/bar as well as laundry and sports facilities. All of the rooms are self-catered with shared kitchen facilities available. Utilities are included in the overall cost meaning that electricity, heating and water are all covered. The cost for rooms ranges between GBP 77 and GBP 177 per week.
Some of the other perks of living in university accommodation include free gym, 24-hour support from security offices and hall wardens, and the chance to attend activities and events throughout the year via campus life membership.
