The Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Russian State Social University" (RSSU) is a higher educational institution.

The Russian State Social University (RSSU) is a leading institution in the field of social sciences in Russia, the CIS and the Baltic states. The University was founded in 1991 and became the first university in the Russian Federation to launch educational programs in the fields of social work, social psychology, and social pedagogy.

The university has a well-developed campus, today more than 18,000 students study at the university, including 808 foreign students from 71 countries, students take an active part in academic exchange programs. The university has 13 faculties: the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Information Technology, the Faculty of Communication Management, the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Psychology, the Faculty of Social Work, the Faculty of Sociology, the Faculty of Management, the Faculty of Physical Culture, the Faculty of Ecology and Technosphere Security, the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Law, and the College. There are 44 bachelor's degree programs, 30 master's degree programs, 16 secondary vocational education programs, 7 specialty programs and 13 postgraduate programs.

The University has 7 branches: 5 in the Russian Federation and 2 abroad.

RSSU is a modern state university that provides its students with all the conditions for effective study and recreation. 10 academic buildings are located in the eastern and north-eastern districts of Moscow. All classrooms and training laboratories are equipped with the latest technology and have the opportunity to conduct online classes. The university provides training facilities for both streaming lectures and individual classes. All business processes of the university have a high degree of automation. To ensure the educational process, the university has implemented an electronic educational system (LMS), all educational content is digitized. Each student has a personal account and an electronic portfolio, in which students reflect all their achievements both in the learning process and in the cultural and social life of the university.
