About International House World Organization

The International House World Organization (IHWO) is one of the largest and oldest groups of language schools in the world. Founded in 1953, it is a global network of over 150 affiliated private language schools in 52 countries, spanning every continent. Since 1999, IH Bangkok has offered English courses to students from across the globe while also training English teachers on the Cambridge CELTA. English Courses

International House Bangkok is a Cambridge English accredited school with 100% qualified, native English speaking teachers. They are the largest Cambridge English Teacher Training center in the world and understand what makes great teaching. They are a medium sized English school that focuses on the quality of their teachers and classes to ensure students learn English as fast as possible, while still having fun.

They teach general English, business English, IELTS, IGCSE (Math, Science, History, and more), SAT, GED, TOEFL, TOEIC to kids, teenagers and adults from Thailand and many other countries around the world.

General English Courses

• Monday – Friday: 9:00 am to 12:15 pm

General English 15 (GE15): GE15 is a great opportunity for you to improve your English ability, as it focuses on all four skill areas of the language: listening, reading, writing and speaking. Vocabulary and grammar are also covered, giving you the chance to perfect prior knowledge or be introduced to new concepts in a supportive, exciting, and fun environment.

• Monday – Friday: 9:00 am to 12:15 pm and 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

General English 25 (GE25): General English 25 is for learners who are dedicated to improving as much as possible as quickly as possible. With a ten hour extension of the normal GE15, General English 25 provides further classes from 13.00-15.00, Monday to Friday. With smaller afternoon classes, GE25 will cover a variety of topics that give students even more practice with a range of grammar and vocabulary.

Business English Courses

• Monday – Friday: 9:00 am to 12:15 pm and 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Business English 25 (BE25): As an extension of the GE15 course, Business English 25 allows students to take part in general English classes in the morning, catering to all their day-to-day and grammatical needs, before studying a further 2 hours from 13.00-15.00 in a classroom where the context is entirely business. BE25 students will spend their afternoons learning how English is used to negotiate, give presentations, use English appropriately in meetings, write formal emails and much more.

Intensive Business English 25 (IBE25): This course is a combination of the afternoon 13:00-15:00 business class with a further 3 hours per day of private 1:1. This is for students who want the benefit of a customized course, focus, and feedback offered in a 1:1 classroom setting. Classes can concentrate on exactly what the student wants and needs in order to succeed in their career. The private class can concentrate on almost anything related to business: presentations, email writing, customer service, negotiating, business communication, marketing, economics, interview preparation and more.

• Monday – Friday: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm and 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm

Intensive Business English 20 (IBE20): Similar to IBE25, intensive business English 20 has 2 hours of group class from 13:00 to 15:00, and 2 additional hours of private per day.
