New European College

About

New European College is a private international business school in Munich, Germany, that offers state-accredited university programs in business administration and international management in English. Established in 2014, New European College was authorized in 2015 by the Bavarian Ministry of Education, based on the academic agreement (approved by the North Rhine-Westphalian Ministry of Sciences) with the International University Bad Honnef, to hold university courses and examinations.

The NEC Campus is located on the western upper bank of the river Isar in the southern part of Munich. It is 15 minutes away from the city center of Munich by public transport. Private student dormitories are located in 10 minutes walking distance from the campus.

Entry Requirements

Bachelor Programs

1. Completed Secondary School Degree

2. English Language Certificate (Academic IELTS with min. 6.0 or equivalent)

4. Successful Assessment Interview

Master Programs

1. Bachelor degree or equivalent in a business related field

• Applicants are requested to provide an 2 reference letters, at least one from their previous educational institute;
• It is necessary to have obtained a Bachelor degree from within the field of business. In their bachelor’s degree applicants must have completed an academic piece of work (final project or dissertation) that demonstrates a degree of academic writing and research experience.
• Students who have not completed a previous degree in the field of business but fulfill all other requirements can participate in a mandatory one-semester Pre-Master program.

Accommodation

There are currently more than 120 student dormitories in Munich and they are ready to help students ensure comfortable, modern and efficient accommodation as quickly as possible.

Upon provisional acceptance to New European College, students will be contacted by their Accommodation Officer to begin the process of finding a room and kept up to date with resources and housing opportunities via their Accommodation newsletter.

Accreditation

All academic degrees offered by New European College are awarded by the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef (IUBH) and have full German state accreditation. The International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef is officially recognized in Germany as higher education institution and has the privilege to award academic degrees - undergraduate and graduate. Furthermore IUBH is accredited with the Foundation of International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) and the German Council of Science and Humanities (Wissenschaftsrat).
