ABOUT ALPADIA LANGUAGE SCHOOLS

Alpadia Language Schools by Kaplan International Languages offers year-round French and German courses in Switzerland, Germany and France for students 16+. We also offer English, French and German language camps for juniors and teens in Switzerland, Germany, France and United Kingdom.

Initially established in 1996, and now larger than ever, our mission is to encourage language development through immersion and to expand the horizons of our students.

LANGUAGE COURSES

French Language 16+

A language of love, of literature, of fashion and of cooking, French is one of the most romantic languages in the world. It's also an important working language, as an official language of the United Nations, NATO, International Olympic Committee and more. Our French courses will enable you to master this wonderful language.

German Language 16+

As an official language in six European countries, German is the European Union's most widely spoken tongue. Our German courses will enable you to master this fascinating language.

LIVE ONLINE LANGUAGE CLASSES

Learn French or German in a virtual classroom with other students from around the world. Our skilled language teachers will guide you through the same syllabus that we follow in our schools from the comfort of your own home. You'll work on your listening, reading, writing and speaking skills in our fun interactive classes through a mixture of online learning materials, including quizzes, assignments and tests.

SMALL CLASSES

Small class sizes - limited to twelve students or eight for mini-groups

DYNAMIC LESSONS

Teachers use recognised FLE (French as a Foreign Language) methods, as well as current affairs and media to provide engaging and dynamic classes

PRE-ARRIVAL TESTING

Pre-arrival online language placement test allows us to place you in the right level so you can make maximum progress

LANGUAGE CAMPS 8–17

We offer language camps for students aged 8–17 in Switzerland, France, Germany and the UK that follow a curriculum specially designed for young learners.

German Language

English Language

Our English language camps combine quality tuition with adventure and exploration, with a variety of destinations to choose from in the UK, Switzerland, Germany, France, the USA and Canada. UNIVERSITY PATHWAY PROGRAMME IN GERMANY

With its low living costs and part-time student work allowance, Germany is an excellent place for international students to study. Regardless of your nationality, Germany offers free-of-charge education at public universities and low-cost education at private universities, as well as an 18-month job-seeker visa upon graduation and many more attractive benefits for overseas students. 

CAREER PATHWAY PROGRAMME IN GERMANY

While the transition to the dynamic German working environment appeals to many, the process can be complex and intimidating if you don't yet speak the language. We’ve designed our Career Pathway programme to help you enter the German job market with ease. We’ll help you with securing your visa, arranging accommodation, completing necessary paperwork and of course, learning German. With our extensive network of partner companies, our expert coaches will guide you through the job placement process, supporting you right up until you land your desired job. Our Career Pathway programme is available in Freiburg, Berlin and online.
