Freshman Admission Requirements

A high school diploma (official transcript with graduation date required)

An overall high school GPA of at least a 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale) and a Composite score of at least 19 on the ACT or SAT equivalent or an overall GPA of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) and Composite score of at least 16 on the ACT or SAT equivalent.

When to Apply

Admission: Decisions are made on a rolling basis up to two weeks before the semester begins.

Housing: Assignments are made on a first-come, first served basis. Apply as soon as possible after being admitted and submitting your enrollment deposit.

Financial Aid: Priority is given to early applicants; however, awards are made on a continuous basis. The FAFSA becomes available October 1 each year. West Virginia residents must complete their FAFSA by March 1 preceding the academic year for consideration for state aid.
