Founded as an independent School of Medicine in 1976, St. George’s University, an accredited Caribbean Medical School, has evolved into a center of international medical education, drawing med school and MD program students, alumni and faculty from over 150 countries to the island of Grenada.

One MD Degree Program, Four Locations

St. George’s University is truly an international institution for your pursuit of an MD degree. Not only does it have a diverse student body and faculty but the unique opportunity for students to begin their medical education in Grenada, the United Kingdom, or India. The three paths feature the same curriculum and provide a strong foundation for SGU’s future physicians. The last two years have the option of doing clinical rotations either in the US or the UK.
