Reputation leader – Rīga Stradiņš University has been recognized as the highest quality university with the best reputation in Latvia, obtaining the highest score among the ten largest universities in Latvia. This was concluded in 2017-2021. in the Kantar  Latvian higher education reputation study conducted in 2015.

Export champion – this title and award was won by Rīga Stradiņa University in the relevant category in the Export and Innovation competition organized by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy.

Professional development courses

The Continuing Education Center organizes various professional development programs - courses, including theoretical and practical training, seminars, interdisciplinary conferences, as well as individual training. With the theoretical training, especially at the conferences, both qualified and certified specialists in the relevant field, as well as students and anyone interested who wants to improve their knowledge, are invited to participate.

The Open University

In the courses offered by the RSU Open University, anyone can participate as a free student in any study program or part of it offered by the university in medicine and health care or social sciences. This is a good option:

• acquire new competences and skills;
• increase competitiveness in the labor market;
• get to know the program chosen for studies;
• to study even if for some reason you cannot study the full study program at the university.

Medical Education Technology Center

Riga Stradiņa University's Medical Education Technology Center (MITC) is the only simulation center in Latvia and the largest in the Baltics, which has the appropriate infrastructure and equipment in one place to ensure the acquisition and improvement of skills, as well as the implementation of simulation programs in various healthcare sectors.
