Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology (PJAIT) was founded in 1994 as the fruit of cooperation of governments of Poland and Japan. Since its early years it has been ranked among the top institutions of higher education in Poland. It is renowned among students, employers and the media.
PJAIT has been striving to refine its teaching methodology and adjust the curriculum to the ever changing requirements of employers. Our biggest strength is practical education in the knowledge and skills useful on the best paid specialists in Poland reassures us that the choices were correct/
The faculty of the Academy is comprised of outstanding specialists from Poland and Other countries. We offer study programs in Polish and English (the latter in the fields of computer science graphic design and information management). We cooperate with over 40 technical and art schools in Japan and Europe, which makes it possible for our students to participate in student exchange.
Students have at their disposal modern general-purpose labs and specialized computer, graphics and workshop labs.
Our current education offer encompasses students in computer science at the Faculty of Information Technology, studies in Graphic Arts and interior Design at the Faculty of new media arts, studies in Information management, and, last but not least, Culture studies at the Faculty of culture of Japan. We also run several post graduate programs and MBA.
Te headquarters are located in the centre of Warsaw. We have branch in Gdansk and Research and Development Centre in Bytom.

Language courses
PJAIT students have an opportunity to learn Polish and Japanese for free during the academic year. Moreover, the intensive 30-day Polish and English courses in September are also free of charge for newcomers.
Modern equipment and new technologies
In cooperation with our partners, such as Dell, Facebook, Samsung, Microsoft and Google, we provide our students with access to modern equipment and new technologies available on the market, such as, for example, Microsoft Hololens and Oculus Rift.
Internships and practices
Students, interested in a successful start of their career, are given access to the database of internship and practice offers.
Erasmus+
PJAIT is a participant of the Erasmus+ exchange program, which means that students can spend a semester abroad at partner higher education institutions.
Software
In cooperation with our partners, such as Microsoft, Autodesk, Sap, SAS, VMware, we offer our students free software required for classes and personal projects.
Events
Various workshops, exhibitions, hackathons, concerts and presentations are frequently organized for students at PJAIT. These events are also attended by Polish and international experts, including professional designers, artists, musicians, programmers. inventors, company representatives, as well as invited professors.
Special interest groups
Many student’s clubs are active at the Polish-Japanese academy of Information Technology. Among others: e-sports team and Java programmers club.
International exchange with Japan
Our students can take part in the international exchange program with Japan and study there for up to 2 years.
