Shebbear College

Shebbear College is an English vibrant day and boarding school for boys and girls aged 2 to 18. It consists of Prep School (From Year 1 to Year 6), Foundation Stage Unit, Senior School and Sixth Form. Life at Shebbear is busy, filled with academic purpose, curricular activity, creative discovery and outdoor adventure.

With fine educational experience since 1841, its aim is to provide every young person with a Foundation for Life in the 21st Century, where pupils can challenge themselves, take risks, be innovative, enjoy learning and develop a wide variety of skills fit for their future. SENIOR SCHOOL / SIXTH FORM

• Day – £4475 per term (Fees include their bus service and school lunches)
• Weekly Boarding – £5170 per term
• Termly Boarding (non EU nationals) – £9330 per term

PREP YEARS 5 AND 6

• Day – £3270 per term (Fees include their bus service, school lunches and wraparound care from 8am – 5pm)

• Weekly Boarding – £4915 per term
• Termly Boarding – £6470 per term

PREP YEARS 3 AND 4

• Day – £2840 per term (Fees include their bus service, school lunches and wraparound care from 8am – 5pm)

PREP YEARS 1 AND 2

RECEPTION

PRE-SCHOOL

• Early Years Funding accepted for eligible 2, 3 and 4 year old children.
• Session cost (Morning, Mid-Morning or Afternoon) – £15.00 per session
• Additional cost per hour – £5.00

CASUAL MEALS / TEA AND PREP

• Seniors: £4.40 per meal or £7.75 per day
• Prep Years 3-6: £3.90 per meal or £6.75 per day
• Pre-Prep: £3.10 per meal or £5.70 per day

Scholarships

Shebbear College offers a range of Scholarships to reflect academic, sporting, musical, creative or artistic talent. It also offers “All-rounder” awards to candidates who excel in all areas of school life.

Scholarships are awarded annually to talented pupils who will make an outstanding contribution to the school at Form 1 (Year 7), Form 3 (Year 9) and Lower 6. Scholarships are conditional upon the recipient’s active and full participation in appropriate activities at Shebbear.
