The customer is never wrong

Born in 1850 in a small village in Switzerland, César Ritz used his creativity and innovative spirit to write hospitality history. Working hard in the restaurant and hotel industry, he was able to move up the ranks. Intelligent, agile, eager to learn, and decisive, he was the master of difficult situations and was known for his incredible memory of guests and their needs.

He famously coined the phrase, “The customer is never wrong."

He went on to manage and buy hotels, always introducing bold innovations. His most prestigious accomplishment was creating and running the Ritz Paris Hotel, an unprecedented example of comfort and elegance. It was there he met his lifelong friend and business partner Chef Auguste Escoffier.

César Ritz was a pioneer, who thought outside the box to create standards of service and excellence that defined and invented the luxury hospitality industry. That entrepreneurial spirit guides our entire experience, from the ambition of our students, to the way we nurture the next generation of visionaries.

Le Bouveret is a beautiful lakeside resort on the shores of Lake Geneva, minutes away from the French border, with breathtaking views of the Swiss Riviera and alpine foothills. Known for its beautiful beach and many outdoor attractions, Le Bouveret is a popular summer resort, conveniently located near the vibrant towns of Montreux and Lausanne. The campus is situated just minutes away from the town center and the lake. Rooms are located in several adjacent buildings: the main building, the former Hotel Aiglon, which dates back to the early 1900s and overlooks the lake, and the adjacent Bellevue buildings, set among the trees.

Accommodation

By default, you will be allocated a double standard room, that you share a with a roommate. Roommates are great for cultural exchanges, and practicing different languages, and quite often, your roommate becomes your best friend on campus. All rooms are non-smoking.

FACILITIES

The campus is composed of: The Aiglon, Bellevue, Apicius, and The Mosimann Collection. The campus offers students plenty of options to relax and socialise, including a natural pool, hiking trails, nightclub, table tennis, table football, home cinema complete with gaming equipment.
