ACCOMMODATION

Standard of accommodation

• Good size single bedroom with comfortable bed
• Half-board accommodation is offered as standard
• Self-catering and Bed & breakfast may be available on request*
• No students share a room unless they want to
• Sheets, pillowcases and towels are provided and changed
  each week.
• You must provide your own toiletries
• Your clothes will be washed but you will need to do your own ironing
• The homestay provider cleans the room, the student keeps
  it tidy
• All students get a table and chair for studying
  
  * Self catering - You will buy and cook your own food.
  Bed & breakfast - Your homestay provider will only provide you breakfast in the morning.

For most classes: Morning lessons are between 09:30 and 12:45. You will have a short break between 11:00 and 11:15. Afternoon lessons take place between 13:30 and 15:00.

• Every week we have an activities programme. These activities are good fun and a good chance to meet new people and practise your English. They take place in the afternoons and evenings. Sometimes they take place in our centre, sometimes they take place in places of interest in and around schools.

Free Activities

• Every Monday there is a walking tour.
• On other days, there are speaking clubs, games, drama, sport and many other activities which you can join.
• In the evenings there may be a barbecue, a disco and sometimes we have an African drumming workshop, live music or a salsa class. We invite students to hold a Cultural Evening where other students can learn more about your country.

Activities organised outside the school

Activities that are not at the school usually cost a small amount of money (£8-£15). There will always be a member of staff at the place of the activity to meet you. Such activities include bowling and trips to the cinema. Student prices are much cheaper so make sure you bring your student ID Card.
