1. Define Your Goal
Which field do you want to study? In which country? Why did you choose that particular place? Answer these questions on paper. A written intention is much clearer than a thought circling around in your mind.
2. Compare Your Options
Weigh the level of education, tuition fees, living expenses, scholarships, and language environment against each other. Put at least 3–5 universities into a table.
3. Language Level and Documents
Language certificates such as IELTS, TOPIK, or HSK can’t be earned overnight, so plan your preparation time in advance. Make a separate list for your passport, diploma translation, motivation letter, and recommendation letters.
4. Calculate Your Expenses
Tuition, dormitory or rented housing, food, transport, insurance, and the visa fee. Write an approximate amount next to each item, and add a 10–15% buffer to the total.
5. Build a Calendar of Dates
Application deadlines, scholarship results, and visa appointment queues change every year. Confirm them on official websites and add them to your calendar.
6. Ask Those Who Have Been There
What students currently studying there, or those who have returned after graduating, tell you reveals things no announcement mentions. Prepare your questions in advance. However, at critical stages such as documents, visas, and choosing a university, it’s wise to follow the proverb “leave it to the professionals”: entrust this work to experienced specialists, the Worlduz team.
