North Ossetian State University named after Kosta Levanovich Khetagurov (SOGU) is a federal state budgetary educational institution of higher education. SOGU is represented by 17 faculties that provide multi-level training in 22 enlarged groups of areas and specialties (UGN(C). In December 2017, according to the results of the competition of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the university received the status of a university center for innovative, technological and social development.
