The Future Leaders Exchange Program (FLEX) was created in 1992 by Senator Bill Bradley and Congressman Jim Leach. The goal of the program was to increase cultural understanding between young people in the United States and other countries. In addition, the program was designed to improve and develop relations between the United States and the countries of the former Soviet Union, and to ensure long-term peace and understanding between the United States and the countries of Europe and Eurasia. Requirements and steps to apply
You do not have to go anywhere to participate in the program, you can participate in this program online from anywhere with internet access. The student must be age appropriate (9th, 10th, and 11th grade students or college students), have good grades in school, and know English. Selection starts from September month and continues till mid-October, the selection plan includes three phases.

First stage:
Applying for the program. During the application process, 3 essays must also be sent within ten days.

Second stage:
Students will have an English language test.

Third stage:
Semifinalist round includes an interview, three essay questions, a complete application, and an English test.

The program covers all student costs related to stay, food, accommodation, and other similar expenses.
