History and Culture

Malta’s history is rich and colourful and the island is full of attractions. One can enjoy audio visual shows namely  The Malta Experience and The Valletta Living History to familiarise oneself with Malta’s historical past.  The Monumental building of St. John’s Co – Cathedral is a living legacy to The Knights of St.John. Historical attractions to be visited include Palazzo Falzon, and the Mdina Dungeons in the historical “Silent City” of Mdina. If you’re looking for something authentic to take home with you, be sure to visit the Crafts Village in Ta’ Qali and Marsaxlokk fishing village in the south of the island. Get off the beaten track with a train ride on Melita Trains and experience the charms of a typical Maltese village.

For a truly original evening experience you will never forget, watch the Knights Spectacular Show; a two hour action packed live show centred on the epic events of the Great Siege of 1565. The show has a cast of 50 performers, 8 trained horses, rich costumes and live battles. Sit back, enjoy the three course meal and watch as the events of 1565 unfold in front of you.
