Miras University

Miras University was founded in May 1997 on the basis of the Research and Training center of the A. Yassavi Moscow State Technical University, established by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in August 1996, as a center for processing educational technologies according to international standards.

The idea of establishing Miras University as a private university of a new generation was born in the mid-1990s, when it became clear that the existing system of humanitarian and economic education implemented in classical universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan does not meet the requirements of the new socio-economic situation and requires fundamental changes. The primary task, which was formulated by the founders, is to create a university that will implement the principles of academic integrity and freedom, provide students with tools for analyzing and predicting real processes, and teach them how to work with statistics and economic models.

The implementation of large-scale educational projects allowed Miras University to gain a leading position in the educational space of southern Kazakhstan in the shortest possible time and to form a consistently positive perception of the Miras University brand.
