MAHSA University has been a renowned and esteemed private institution of higher education since its inception in 2005. MAHSA has continuously taken pride in offering comprehensive teaching methods, highly-effective industry and clinical trainings as well as up-to-date student facilities to enhance our culturally diverse student body. Today, MAHSA has blossomed into an edifice that garners respect and passion from our graduates as well as the public.

A steady growth from its humble beginnings has led MAHSA to what it is today; an institution spread over two strategically placed campuses, offering almost 40 different programs to suit the needs of the global job market.  In its plans for an upward growth trajectory, an ultra-modern, purpose-built campus is being built in Bandar Saujana Putra.

MAHSA offers programmes in various levels, from foundation and diploma to degree and postgraduate programmes in fields such as Business & Accounting, Engineering, the American Degree Transfer Program as well as Healthcare programmes such as Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, Radiography as well as Environmental Health.

MAHSA University students have a vibrant and diverse student life that caters to the melting pot of cultures on campus. Various clubs and societies that focus on sporting activities, cultural events and fun entertainment encourage MAHSA students to build and harness their confidence and leadership skills. All students are given opportunities to participate in campus activities to provide a healthy balance to their already dynamic academic life.

In keeping with its development into an edifice of success and stature in the Malaysian education realm, MAHSA University currently anticipates the completion of a modern and technologically superior campus in Bandar Saujana Putra which will consist of academic facilities. Internationally competitive, the new campus will have student housing, a sports stadium, a hotel and even a hospital to provide a complete education experience for all MAHSA students.

Location

Campuses

MAHSA has three campuses - Jalan University Campus (JUC) (main campus), Pusat Bandar Damansara Campus (PBD), and MAHSA College Sabah Campus. A fourth campus in Bandar Saujana Putra will be ready in the near future in 2015.

Faculties

Pre-University Studies

MAHSA University's Foundation in Science and Foundation in Business programmes aim to provide students with a broad exposure to various subjects. In addition, a Mentor-Mentee programme for every student, which is structured to serve their degree programme as well as possible, helps ensure a smooth transition for students to their undergraduate degree. Upon completion of the programme, candidates can gain direct entry to the various degree programmes in MAHSA University.

English Language Centre

The MAHSA University College English Department prepares students to be readily employed with marketable skills in the English language not only nationally but internationally. The English programmes at MAHSA aim to improve students' skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Medicine

The MAHSA University Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences offers its students the best of modern and traditional modes of learning. It provides a subject-based, system-synchronised curriculum that is both pragmatic and modern in approach. Whilst it is lecture-driven by highly experienced teachers, innovative methods such as problem-based learning (PBL), e-learning, early clinical exposure (ECE) and small group sessions (with movies, debates and role play) are integrated into it to boost students' enthusiasm. The undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science offers a dual award for students with Anglia Ruskin University, UK.

Dentistry

MAHSA University has an established training programme for the Degree in Dental Surgery, Diploma in Dental Technology and Certificate in Dental Surgery Assistant. Each programme focuses on innovativeness in education and training approaches supported by state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring quality education. It has qualified reputable staff offering quality teaching.

Pharmacy

The Faculty of Pharmacy offers PhD in Pharmacy, Masters in Pharmacy, Bachelor of Pharmacy as well as Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharm). The upcoming campus in Saujana Putra will also see impressive facilities being built to complement this growing field.

Nursing & Midwifery

The Faculty of Nursing offers various programmes from diploma to PhD levels for this field of caring professionals. Also offered is an Advanced Diploma in the field of Midwifery.

Health Sciences

MAHSA's Faculty of Allied and Health Sciences offers diploma and undergraduate courses in Environmental Health, Medical Imaging, and Physiotherapy. The Physiotherapy programme offers a dual award with Anglia Ruskin University, UK.

Business and Accounting

The Faculty of Business and Accounting offers dual awards with Anglia Ruskin University, UK as well as programmes such as the Foundation course in Business, undergraduate degrees in Business Administration, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Oil and Gas Management as well as Hospital Management. For those looking at postgraduate options, there is also the Master of Business Administration course which offers flexible modes of learning.

Engineering

The programmes for the Faculty of Engineering offer a dual award with Anglia Ruskin University, UK in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Electronic & Communication Engineering, Medical Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering as well as Electronic Engineering (Automotive).
