Ca 'Foscari University (Italian: Università Ca' Foscari Venezia) is a public university in Venice, Italy. One of the leading centers of the country for training specialists in the field of Economics, Management of International Relations and Linguistics; The oldest business school in Italy. Since its foundation in 1868, the main university building has been located in the Ca 'Foscari Palace, built in the style of the Venetian Gothic, from which the university takes its name. Ca 'Foscari Palace stands at the Grand Canal between the Rialto quarter and St. Mark's Cathedral in the Dorsoduro district.
The Institute received university status in 1968. Currently, it consists of 8 faculties. About 19,000 students study at the university.
