Novosibirsk State Technical University

Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU) is a multidisciplinary university in Novosibirsk. Currently, NSTU conducts training in 95 areas (bachelor's and master's degrees). The university has 17 faculties and institutes. He is a participant of the program-Supporting Universities of Russia.

NSTU is located in 8 academic buildings, which have all the necessary equipment for high-quality training sessions. In the educational process, 236 university-wide, faculty and cathedral computer classes are used; 48 multimedia classrooms; more than 60 laboratories, educational and research centers created on the basis of NSTU together with large companies, as well as research centers and research institutes organized by the university together with the Research Institute of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences; more than 30 interdepartmental laboratories and branches of departments on the basis of industrial enterprises in the region.

The computer network of the university is one of the most developed in Novosibirsk among educational institutions, it unites more than 5,000 computers. Data transmission lines between academic buildings of 10 Gbit/s. Free Wi-Fi is available in the academic buildings for students and staff.

NSTU publishes printed periodicals: the bulletin for teachers and staff of the university "NSTU-INFORM", the student newspapers "Energia" and "Abzats", the faculty newspapers "Ulet", "PRofil", "Femida"; in addition, the "Student's Handbook" and "Applicant's Handbook", the Chronicle of student life are published annually.

In April 2017, NSTU became one of the regional reference universities.

In 2000, the university was awarded the gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin for its great contribution to the development of higher education and the training of qualified specialists.
