Heart Land International English school

Located in both beautiful Winnipeg, Manitoba, and exciting Mississauga, Ontario, Heartland International English Schools continue to offer premiere private English Language educational experiences. We provide comprehensive English programs  to help students learn all English skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. Our program structure allows students to start any Monday, and study for any duration of time.  We offer all levels ranging from entry to advanced which ensures that all students are challenged and will improve their English. We have dedicated and experienced administrative and teaching staff who are committed to providing students with a positive and rewarding learning experience. Our schools have modern classrooms, wireless internet access, kitchen and student lounge facilities.

Programs

Heartland International English School offers comprehensive English as a Second Language (ESL) programs for international learners. Heartland English programs are made to meet your learning needs – from beginner to advanced levels.

The Intensive English Program is a flexible ESL program focusing on improving your English ability.  The Semi-Intensive program is available for students who would like to study part-time.  For maximum English practice, the Super-Intensive program includes regular classes plus either an IELTS preparation class or a conversation class.

• If fully vaccinated students have a VALID Electronic Travel Authorization or Temporary Resident Visa  (eTA) or  (TRV) and are flying to Canada for a program of fewer than six months, are allowed into Canada without the need to quarantine for 14 days.
• Since July 5, 2021, fully vaccinated* students who have a VALID study permit for a program at an approved designated learning institution  (DLI) are allowed into Canada without the need to quarantine for 14 days.
• Fully vaccinated students coming for programs of fewer than six months who are eligible for an eTA should apply for their eTA as soon as they can. The process is very simple, costs only CAD $7, and the results are usually processed in fewer than 48 hours.
• Start any Monday and study any length of time (from one week to one year, or longer)
• Classes Monday to Friday
• Basic to advanced level instruction with a focus on all skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking
• Students are placed in appropriate level based on the placement test on the first day of classes
• For maximum student participation — Average 15 students per class. Maximum 20 students.
• Weekly activities organized to allow students to use their English in a variety of real situations outside of the school
• In-person students with a visitor or work authorization may study for up to six months.
• On a student authorization, in-person students may study up to one year or longer.
• Students studying online can complete their program online, including a Pathway program, provided their level is available.
