Samiad Summer School

We launched Samiad to provide high quality language programmes to individuals and groups across the UK. Our main aim is to combine quality accommodation, very friendly and enthusiastic staff, and unique and high value excursions for all our programmes. We want to work with like-minded people, so when we choose our staff, partners and suppliers we are always looking for a long-term relationships and people that we get along with. When we first launched our summer school programme, we wanted to make sure that people would want to visit us again and would tell their friends and family about us. We hope that we have been able to do this and hope to continue to do so across our future programmes and campuses. We have grown from running the summer school programme at one campus in 2014 to offering nine programmes across four campuses for 2023! In addition to our summer school programmes, we are continuing to offer year-around group programmes from Central London. We are looking forward to 2023 and providing our award-nominated programmes to even more children and adults around the UK!

• We have a market leading staff to student ratio of 1 to 6, enabling our staff to interact with your children to a greater extent as well ensuring a safer and more enjoyable environment.
• We offer unique, high value excursions, including our now OVERNIGHT excursions to either a medieval castle or an immersive London experience! .
• We push the boundaries on what activities can be offered at a summer school, including zombie runs, escape games, assault courses and music festivals. 
• We cap the number of students speaking any one language on site to 20% at any time, meaning there is greater interaction between children in an environment where English is the primary language used to communicate.

Accommodation and Facilities

During our Summer programmes you will be staying in one of our boarding houses. At peak times we have a separate boarding house for junior boys, senior boys, junior girls and senior girls. Each boarding house has a number of staff who will also be based there to provide 24/7 support and care.

Each boarding house has communal areas, which is ideal for casual free time to relax and carry on getting to know your new friends. The boarding houses also offer a kitchen to make drinks and light snacks, and a games room.

You will be able to request your preferred room type, and whether you wish to share with a friend or perhaps a student of a different nationality!

Each bedroom will have a single bed, desk and wardrobe for each occupant.

Across our campuses we have a mixture of single, twin, triple and quad room available, with shared or private bathroom faculties.  Our advisors will be able to give you the best information about room types available at your chosen campus.

English Classes at Samiad

Our English language classes will provide students with a focused classroom-based environment in which to improve their English language ability in all four components; Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening.

With 15 hours lesson time a week, our intensive classes will fast-track students’ learning in a way which is fun and engaging.
We make sure our class sizes are limited to 15 students so students can prioritise their confidence in spoken English and receive the attention they require to improve.

In the very first English class, students will take a diagnostic test to make sure they are placed in a class of appropriate ability.

On departure, students will be given a Samiad Summer School English Certificate.
