Requirements

• Unconditional offer letter (signed by you)
• Evidence of your academic qualifications – if the certificates aren’t in English, you will need to have them translated by an official translator
• Evidence of your English language proficiency
• Deposit for your course (50% of the first year’s fee)
• Evidence you have funds to cover the remainder of your tuition fees plus living costs (see below) – this needs to be in an accessible bank account for at least 28 consecutive days
• Evidence of your immigration history – such as an immigration history questionnaire, previous CAS, previous academic results gained in the UK, exit evidence, vignettes, Biometric Residents Permits, refusal documents or curtailments
• Valid passport.

Scholarships and bursaries

If you’re a self-funded International Student paying overseas fees, you may qualify for their Vice Chancellor’s International Student Scholarship.

They also offer some scholarships and bursaries for overseas students, to help with the costs of studying in the UK.

You can also contact Student Finance to find out how you can get funding for your studies based on your individual circumstances. If you've already completed an undergraduate degree at Bucks New University, you could receive a fee discount on a postgraduate course.

Accommodation

Coming to university is always a big move. Of course, you'll want the certainty of knowing where you are going to live. You'll also want a place that fits in with your studies and suits your social life, and most of all, you'll want somewhere you'll feel at home.

At Bucks, settling into your new surrounding will be easy, thanks to their range of comfortable halls of residence.

If you're a full-time first year student and you apply for accommodation, they can guarantee you a place in one of their High Wycombe halls. They will also guarantee a room to late applicants and applicants who apply to Bucks through Clearing.

Rooms in their Covid-safe student accommodation will start at £80 per week and include:
