Student Halls Of Residence

Halls of residence are one of the most popular choices of accommodation made by students. If you are going to attend a language school, college or university and want to experience living in or near the centre of town, then a hall of residence is ideal for you.

Halls of residence offer students an independent lifestyle and the chance to socialise with other students.

Our halls of residence provide a high standard of living with modern kitchens and communal areas. Some offer other amenities such as a gym and social programmes.

Find Your Perfect Homestay

At Britannia we aim to provide you with a safe, happy, comfortable home away from home. London hosts are selected for their friendliness and their homes must meet British Council and English UK standards.

We have an exceptionally good choice of homestay accommodation offering hundreds of great rooms throughout the city (Zones 1-5). All Britannia homestays are conveniently located, close to public transport and offer a high standard of accommodation. Students can socialise and eat with their host family, and language students can benefit from the chance to practise their English.

What To Expect

The host will provide accommodation and meals as booked. Rooms will be cleaned and bed linen and towels changed at least once a week. The student will be provided with his/her own house key and the host is there to offer help and advice as well as to take an interest in the student’s well-being. We aim to match a student’s requirements as closely as possible with a suitable host. Language students will not be placed in the same homestay as others of the same mother-tongue, except by special request. English is always the main language spoken in the home. Homestays can accommodate a maximum of 4 students at any one time, depending on the size of the home.

Junior Homestays

We can also accommodate junior students (aged under 18) in specially selected homestays, with hosts who have undergone all the required safety checks. Special conditions apply to this age group. Further information can be requested.

Student Apartment & House Shares

Our spacious apartments are in the vibrant West End of London (zone 1), close to Oxford Street; famous for its shopping, theatres, bars and restaurants.

Our house shares are in Zone 3, a quick train or bus journey from Central London.Apartments and house shares are a great way to book single, double and twin accommodation by the room or by the bed. Meet new people and discover new places with our student apartments and house shares. Prices vary, depending upon the location of the apartment or house share. Accommodation which is situated further from central London offers excellent value for money to students on lower budgets.

Take advantage of our extensive tour operating experience. We can handle group accommodation and tours for all budgets and ages (including juniors, age under 18). Whether you need to place your group in homestays, halls of residence, hostels or hotels, we can arrange the accommodation and look after all the details.
