Trakya University was founded in 1982 in the province of Edirne. Edirne region is a 2 and a half hour drive from Istanbul and a 1 hour drive through the Sea of ​​Marmara.

Trakya University was founded in 1982 in the province of Edirne. Edirne region is a 2 and a half hour drive from Istanbul and a 1 hour drive through the Sea of ​​Marmara. The Edirne region is adjacent to Bulgaria and Greece, and its main part is located near the Aegean Sea. The university has faculties in Turkish and English. Currently, the university provides an excellent opportunity for its students regarding location (travel). Students will have an excellent opportunity to work in the province of Thrace. The university allows its students to work after graduation. Students can work at nearby stores in hotels. The university has a library, classrooms, Internet, a football and basketball sports ground for 7/24 hours of Internet (Wi-Fi), a laboratory, and relaxation rooms.

  • 3. Original diploma or certificate and notarized translation (into Turkish or English)
  • 4. IELTS 5.5

If there is no certificate of knowledge of Turkish or English, after entering the university an internal exam is held and, accordingly, enrolled in the preparatory course.

Admission process started in May and lasts until mid-September.

Some university departments require internal exams. After entering the university, an internal exam will be taken.
